Reteti Elephant Sanctuary* is the first community owned and run elephant orphanage in Africa and it is situated in the remote Samburu Mathew ranges in northern Kenya, in Ngilai Unit of Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy.
The elephant keepers are all recruited from within Namunyak Conservancy.
We will be visiting the *Umoja Women Community*.
The Umoja Women Community are SGBV (Sexual Gender Based Violence) survivors who live in a same-sex village with their fellow women and their children, however, they are victims to period poverty since they lack accessibility to safe sanitary products.
By booking this trip, you will be donating 1 pack of reusable (recyclable) pads to girls & women at Umoja village Samburu
